It's been 3 weeks already and I'm startin to get bored already. I feel like I want to go back to school. Sem 4 is about to start soon and it also includes my field placement. This is going to be different from the other 3 semesters I have completed. It's going to be a balance between school and work @ my placement. Monday, I start @ 12:30, but I end late at around 6:20pm. Tuesday and Wednesday, are my days at my placement. That won't start until week 2. You may say quot" 9 to 5. Thursday, my classes start @ 10:30 and Friday, classes starts @ 8:30. I will still be using two of my textbooks that I used in sem 3; however, I still need to buy two more books including one for my second elective.
Anyway, my break was not bad. Christmas and New Year's was ok. I made more CCS vids, prob around four I guess. My fanfic....well ^^;; it's kind of long and i'll leave it on hiatus for awhile. I also watched the movie "Akeelah and the Bee." The guy who plays Dylan is hot ~(shows hearty eyes and squeals)~. In the movie, he's Chinese; but in real life, he's half-Filipino, half-European. I suggest you people to watch it. The first time I watched it was after the New Year on TMN (I missed the beginning and middle parts). Good news is that it's posted on Youtube and managed to see the whole thing. I also watched "Ugly Betty" last night. Not much comedy in the first half. (no offence...I was startin to get pissed off.) 20 minutes to 9...finally. The first part was something about a butt-lift with Willamina (not sure if the spelling is right). (Nice plan Betty.) After the commercials, instead of taking the Japanese designer (including bodyguards and friends) to a luxury restaurant, Betty and Daniel took them to a fast-food restaurant in New Jersey. (kept on laughing at that part)
Besides, Ugly Betty and watching stuff on Youtube, I watched some "Wowowee." It's the same as usual: the 'Boom Boom Tarat', 'Willie of Fortune', the boring performances, and the 'Pera O Bayong.' During the second game, it seems like Willie is forcing the contestants to leave the game with money he's offering causing them not to go to the jackpot round to win bigger prizes from Jeepneys to one million PHP. I liked his old format in which he gives 5 seconds to go to another answer (in green, red, or yellow). They totally changed it two months after Wowowee was relaunched after its disastrous anniversary last February 2006. They even kicked out former co-hosts Iya and Cheena and replaced them with Mariel Rodriguiz (host of Pinoy: Big Brother) and Precious Lara whatever, the winner of Miss International 2005 in Tokyo, Japan (I don't know how to spell her last name). In my opinion, she looks awkward looking on camera (her face that is) and more beautiful in photos. I think they should bring Iya back; unfortunately, she's hosting another show called "U can Dance." The ASF dancers, they been there for a year and a half, since replacing the Wowowee Girls in late September 2005. I'm thinking, are they sick of doing the same moves every single day (except Sundays) on the show? The two famous dancers of the group are Lulingling (Lea Carla) and Milagreen. They are the only dancers that were able to travel to the US with the gang (hosts, co-hosts, etc.) to Las Vegas for their show in Sept 2006 and LA in Dec 2006. The songs...."Boom Boom Tarat" seems to be the most annoying song ever heard. It's been playing on the show since November 2006. To play in 'Bigat 10', they have to dance to it (despite the fact the Pappi Boyz are bringing their famous put-me downs on some of the audience). On the New Year's episode, the lyrics have been modified to be a non-xmas song. That song should be retired. I feel it's starting to get more boring especially on it's Saturdays. The opening number is so damn boring....I'm just waiting for Willie of Fortune to start and then Pera O Bayong. Thank goodness, I don't have time to watch it since I'm returning to school.
My break is almost over...can't wait for sem 4 to start.
That's all for now...mata ne ^_^!!!
