Field Placement....the first few days

Hi again,

My week at my field placement is alright for now. The first day was very light. I did some file searching and some photocopying. The receptionist showed me parts of the hospital such as the mail room and the graphic room. During lunch, I introduced myself during a meeting. The second day involved a lot of filing such as sorting papers and putting them in the appropriate folders. I also had to create some new folders as well. The difficult part of this task was trying to put the papers in the folders. ~goes swirly eyed & hoeeeee~ By the end of the day, I'm totally exhausted @_@. That's what it's like when you're working in the workplace like normal adults do in downtown. I wanted to work @ Sick Kids and this is what I got. The company i'm working for is part of Sick Kids. Sometimes I get access to HSC/SK with my badge.

The following Tuesday, which is today, you may say it's my free day since my supervisor/boss is ill. The only thing I did that day was sort files again, put them in the filing cabinet and do errends at the hospital (mail) and also getting my log-in to the computer system. That leaves me to study for my health terminology test for next Monday ^_^. I wonder, when will I get the chance to type something? I'm in the mood to do that. Still hav to wait a few weeks for that to happen as well as arranging a meeting.

That's the 411 on I'm doing so far. Ja ne ^_^
